“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Sometimes Christians are pursued by evil forces that they have no control over, just because you're faithful and are living a daily Christian life. You are trying to live within a spiritual body and have symbolically and morally left the physical human body that used to be filled with sin, but there are still many temptations that seem to hound every step you take. Whether these outside forces are your own actual lingering physical temptations that slow down your progression into becoming a more spiritual being, or they are actual demonic representations of real physical entities that are still tied to the wickedness of humanity that fail to find any sort of benevolent lifestyle. These outside forces can enter into your realm of mental consciousness and daily life that give problems to one who is seeking to be a better person. Don't despair, because there is a very viable solution to being plagued by outside forces that seem to be the very embodiment of evil itself. The spiritual body can actually become weaponized, in order to better fight your daily battles and bring peace of mind to all troubled Christians. There are two passages of scripture that bring this solution to mind. They are Matthew 3:11 and Luke 3:16. They both deal with the testimony of John the Baptist and how Jesus Christ baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire. I have also included references to both passages with Bible commentaries on these ideas.
Matthew 3:11
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”

Luke 3:16
“John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:”

Commentaries on Luke 3:16

The Holy Ghost is the spiritual force of God that purifies both by means of a saving grace and a punitive or judicial means of action. God puts your sins into a purifying eternal fire that burns out the dross of imperfection, exactly like the melting of silver or gold within a crucible. Only the purest of metal is left over after the eternal fire burns within your heart to melt out the evil and wickedness. No outside force of evil can withstand the cleansing fire of the Holy Ghost. It is a weapon of extreme proportions that nothing can stand up to or supersede, nor can it be resisted or avoided by any devious conflict or malignant enterprise. To place yourself and your spiritual body within this eternal fire is your only alternative to constant harassment by evil forces. Your physical body will not be harmed, and your eternal soul will be cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. How is it possible to enter into this mystical light of advanced reasoning and escape all the bonds of evil that constantly harass your weary mind? Immerse yourself into the words of Jesus Christ and live and breathe freely again the freedom that comes with the breaking of the bonds of sin and destruction. It's that simple. Throw yourself into the flames of the cleansing fire of the Word of God. Step out with abandon and allow yourself be guided by the light of Christian understanding and the life of benevolent freedom from your own inadequacies and sins. Becoming sanctified by sinning less and less is the gift that God gives to all Christians who trust every day in the healing words of Jesus Christ. The unsaved and wicked entities, who seek to do you harm and try to follow you into this spiritual realm of the Holy Ghost, face an eternal fire that is unquenchable. They emerge from the crucible as dross and not the purified silver of a heart that is sustainable in benevolence and the enlightening future of an eternal presence of Jesus Christ. He is both a saving grace to the faithful Christian and judgmental by punishing the forces of evil.
“And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:”
God's judgment is not your judgment and there is no need to worry about those who are of immoral character who do wicked deeds and seek to harm you. He will provide a means of escape for them if they are thrust into an eternal fire, if it is his will. Primarily, the most important need is for the cleansing of your own soul. Jesus Christ is the Holy of Holies, the Ark of the Covenant, the direct pathway to God that was made when he took on our sins and gave up the ghost at his crucifixion, when the veil of the Temple was torn from top to bottom.
The Rending Of The Curtain

He is the Passover Lamb that was sacrificed, whose blood was placed on the doorposts of the houses of the Hebrews, before the avenging Holy Spirit killed the firstborn of every Egyptian in the Old Testament. The Holy Ghost is both saving and punitive. Every Christian should seek to be chastised by God and to correct the crooked and misaligned steps we once had chosen of old, and decide to follow Jesus Christ, by believing on his Holy name, reading his words daily, and seeking to spread the Gospel of Christ to the whole world.
