What sailboat is there that does not eventually have to be dry-docked and cleaned from all the rubbish and barnacles that collect on the bottom of the hull, after traveling across the ocean around the world? There is a little work involved to keep a ship seaworthy. The Templar had to sharpen his sword after defending the faithful in battle, and the lumberjack had to sharpen his axe after cutting through the forest. Also, the College Professor needs to continually brush up on his mathematics, science, or history, since even most college graduates couldn´t pass an exam after years of absence in not studying or reading the material.
Jesus died on the cross for our sins and suffered through endless torment, so that we as Christians could take on his Spirit and survive the temptations of evil and the wickedness of continual Satanic influences in the world. Would we not be good workmen, if we didn´t read, study the Bible, and pray for forgiveness and guidance? We are not saved by our own works but by grace, yet who in his right mind would simply consider remaining idle after Jesus Christ took away the sin of the world, hung on a cross, and lifted all the torment from us? You could not thwart the evils and wickedness of the surrounding devils, unless the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ had entered into your earthly body and given you direction and guidance, like a compass for the soul that travels across the entire Universe. Christians are completely lost without his words and his spirit that lives within the pages of the Holy Bible. Do your soul a favor and pick up your Bible today and reread as much as of the living word as your heart tells you to. Carry the words of Jesus Christ within your heart on a daily basis and refresh all those precious memories of his conversations with the disciples that you can bring to mind instantly. The Holy Bible, His testament, and His words are spirit and life. Keep them fresh in your minds as we go through the Easter weekend and remember that Jesus Christ showed you the way and gave you eternal salvation. Witness and lead others to Christ, give the amazing gift, be charitable, and remember the duties of a Christian after being saved. It´s an ongoing work of art, our souls, that we need to replenish and restore daily in spiritual prayer to God, with adoration, confession, thanksgiving, supplication, and by showing mercy, kindness, and love to our fellow humans. Jesus said to his disciples after his resurrection, "Feed my sheep".
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

“He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”
