As we reinforce our minds to conform to the precepts that are given to us by God in the writings of the New Testament and the entire Bible, we begin to form a resonance with the Holy Spirit. The only way that we can train our minds to resist the temptations of the world and attune our souls to the directional vectors of a compass that follows in the footsteps of Jesus is to read His words. By memorizing the thoughts and lessons that came directly from Jesus, as given to His disciples in the recorded gospels, do we begin to make the reverberations of our thoughts align with a totally spiritual phenomenon that overcomes evil.
You cannot begin to overcome your earthly mistakes that haunt humanity daily, unless your mind is attuned to the personality of Jesus, and this comes only by learning about His directional compass bearing that He has laid down in history for the souls of His followers. There are some mystery teachings throughout history that were created by man and not God, which profess that their manifesto provides a way to escalate the development of normal people into some kind of higher level being exactly like Jesus. They insinuate that you can attain to the same exact degree of higher being just like Jesus, only by studying their mystery doctrines, that are actually different from the Christian Bible. I think this is a mistake to infer that there is a way to obtain a higher plane of existence, without really studying the words of Jesus and the Old Testament. He tells us to study to make ourselves acceptable to God. This does not mean making up religious precedents that are different from those found in the Bible. Of course there are ethics that apply only to modern times, which are situations found nowhere else in history, except that most solution scenarios to modern problems do contain applications that are derived from Bible literature.
By treating our brains as if they are programmable computer models of AI (Artificial Intelligence) entities that have the capacity to associate large language models with daily scenarios, we can begin to form instant solutions for dealing with evil situations. The brain forms a synthesis with the phrases of Jesus and His valuable lessons for dealing with human weaknesses and sinful temptations. Your reactions to these daily difficult situations that might accost your mind and emotions can be instantaneous and benefit your solution outcomes by being programmed by the words of Jesus. Your immediate mental response becomes a resonance that is perfectly aligned with the Holy Spirit, because you have trained your mind to think along the lines of the teachings of Jesus Christ. You no longer have to pause and wonder, whether or not something is inherently evil, because you know and instantly remember the precepts that are laid down in Biblical history. The Bible is full of scenarios, where men of God made huge mistakes, and it is also written as to the reaction that they made and the consequences of their choices. As you go over these stories that God has given us, we constantly are able to associate these instances and compare them to the same tragic consequences for making the same mistakes today.
Here are some ways of keeping the words of Jesus Christ always in your mental reserve that can align with problem solving and form a resonance that has fruitful outcomes, not disorganized confusion or out of tune dissonant notes of fear, anxiety, or anger in response to daily temptations that might arise. The words of Jesus Christ will always give you peace in times of darkness.
Obtain some small note cards and write your favorite Bible passages on them, to be able to have them with you wherever you go. You can take time out when working, watching TV, walking in the park, or just plain spaces of inaction during your daily routines. Memorize the most important lessons that Jesus has given us, to be able to instantly recall them daily and go over the words within your mind. There are people who have memorized entire chapters in the Bible and even whole books.
I started memorizing large passages of the New Testament after I went to a small country church and heard a preacher say that he was doing it to get more understanding from God´s word. This was not long after I left High School, and I have been doing it ever since. Those lessons of the Bible can now be recalled instantly and applied to all situations in life, without having to look them up in the Bible, because they are there within my mind.
Also, you can actually read aloud the entire Bible during the year, or silently, while standing, sitting, or walking, which gives you a triple reinforcement for memory, by reading, seeing, and visualizing the words and historical settings. These were actual people who spoke these words, made their campfires, ate their fish that was cooked on the coals, and had communion one with another. It is a history that can be observed and relived within the neural network of your mind. Jesus said, "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life".
