“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Easter Sunday is the celebrated day of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ when he returned to us from the dead. That day is noted and celebrated by almost all Christians as the happiest day of the year, along with the birth of Christ, as Christmas. There is another coming day of celebration that he talked about when the angels of heaven shall gather all his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other and Jesus comes back again but this time from Heaven and not from death and hell. No one man knows when that day is, not the angels of heaven but God only. In the days of Jesus, he talked about that day and that heaven and earth would pass away but his words would never pass away.
“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”

He also said that the generation he was living in would not pass until all those things were done. We are to act and think that this day could be here at any moment in time. All Christians should think that the final day of the return of Jesus Christ will happen in his generation.
Matthew 24:44 "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

Jesus Christ intimates to all his followers and says that all generations will get the surprise that they do not expect. Each one of us has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and also a day of reckoning. We should prepare our hearts to be ready any day for the awakening and the arrival, a visitation from God. There are many instances of the visitation from God in the Bible.

“And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.”

We should all live our lives knowing the fact that Jesus Christ will return for his visitation in our lifetimes. God will return and visit us to examine our hearts, our lives, and our souls, whether we realize it or not, and it will be within our lifetime. This should not happen just once in our lives but on a daily basis. Get your heart right with God, each and every day, not just on Easter or Christmas. Read the Bible, Pray, memorize passages of scripture to have with you all day and night, at quiet times during the day, or meditate on exactly where Jesus Christ is in your life right now.
“Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.”

He appeared to his disciples out of thin air in the midst of them when the doors were locked for fear of the Jews, passing right through the walls and locked doors. Jesus can come to us as Christians and appear at any time. He is a Spirit living within us. Is not the entire Christian Church the body of Christ? Are not all those who have died and gone on to meet Christ, still living in his spiritual body? Are we not baptized into the body of Jesus Christ? Is he not with us all the time day and night? Yes, we are never alone. Christ in the Holy Ghost is always here with us.
