So, you are visited by a spiritual entity and have experienced enlightenment or have had a catharsis. At least that should be what the outcome needs to have been, a changed heart and a new direction to go in, instead of the old one, which was a mixture of self-destructive, self-centered, narcissistic, and outwardly aggressive behaviors. You couldn't quite find the means or the energy to correct old faults and give up your sins willingly. But then you had this visitation or revelation that could only be classified as a true spiritual presence of God, which made you think again and want to change all of all your old destructive past faults and inadequacies.
Maybe you somehow managed to hit that elevator that scarily ushered you up into another realm of reality and formed images in your consciousness of a thousand points of benevolent light, and it made you feel a little out of place, since you had been teetering on the abyss anyway. Maybe that is good news for you, along with the rest of society, because you could have released your destructive feelings on yourself and the rest of us. Thank God you have been saved from the wickedness that somehow haunts and pursues all of us humans. But we are better than our lower destructive natures and can actually have a very productive and fulfilling life of rewarding and valuable spiritual experiences. Mathematically speaking, you have finally beaten the odds of mental annihilation and the wickedness of self-destructive emotions, and God has helped you drive yourself out of the fog of entropy to finally find your soul within a place of peace, comfort, regeneration, and solace. Only you didn't by any means do this all by yourself. You didn't just suddenly come up with these brilliant ideas to be a better person, in order to prevent and save your soul from destruction. God saves by two different ways, fear and love. You fear for the destruction of your own soul, and yet you also know that God gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to be the divine light of love, healing, inspiration, and salvation in your life. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” - 1 John 4:18
Now, the responsible part starts after the revelation and your acknowledgment of salvation. You need to help yourself and others through witnessing and studying the Bible. Keep the scriptures fresh in your mind, memorize the inspiring of words of Jesus Christ, so that you always have solace in his spirit, pray with sincerity, and let charity be a blessing to bring to mind as often as you are able.

(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
