Stand Strong and Change Yourself

Stand strong in your convictions, do not worry or be dismayed, because the words of Jesus Christ will be here with us until the end of time. Powerful forces may be attacking you from the outside, or your family and friends may forsake you, but just remember that they are only human and subject to weakness or evil, as are all of us. There is only one that is good, and that is God. Still, you must fight against spiritual forces that make all Christians weaker and tempted to fall from great heights. Firstly, forgive,because we are all the same, and only through the Holy Spirit are any of us able to be better than our human natures, better than the evil that is in the world. Hold on to the words of Jesus, for it is only through him that you can overcome the world and defeat your own sinfulness.

Very few things in life come without fighting. Even sickness cannot be overcome by medicine alone. Maybe God gives us sickness and sometimes misfortune, so that we learn to fight against evil and learn to overcome our own weaknesses and inabilities. Don't look for weakness in Christianity, because firstly Christians fight to overcome their own evil and their own sins. It is not the evil that others do to Christians that does the most harm, but truly what we do to ourselves that causes most of our sickness and misfortune. Don't blame others around you; family, friends, workers, or your particular station in life for any condition you may find yourself in. The one specific thing that you have the most direct control over is you. Others may be very difficult to control, as the environment is complicated for you to cause any dramatic change, your job may be hard, and also it is not easy to convince others to give up their sins willingly. But the one thing that you do have the most power over is yourself. First, change your own lifestyle and your own heart then all the other things get much easier.
