Asking Railway to cancel an R/R (PWB)

Re: Cancellation of PWB No. 173212,

dated 7th May, 20.......

This morning we have booked seven parcels of books against above PWB for which a freight of a$ 250 has been paid. The consignment is destined for Sydney .

We have just now received a telephonic call from our clients, M/s. Universal Manufacturers, 170, Old Street, Sydney, informing us that one of the partners of the firm has died and they will have to keep their office closed for one month and hence will not need the goods booked against above PWB. It is, therefore, requested that the said PWB may please be cancelled and our parcels returned to the Bearer.

The original PWB is returned herewith.
