We thank you for your letter dated 19th December, 20.........

Your earlier letter dated 6th December, 20.....does not seem to have been received.

We are indeed sorry to learn that you have observed a shortage of 23 copies. All our parcels are checked twice before packing and there is absolutely no chance of shortage, whatsoever, unless the parcel is tampered with by someone.

In your case, we have re-checked the mater at our end and find that weight of R/R tallies with the weight of the goods. Each book being 600 grns in weight, it would have made a difference of 14 Kgs in the R/R for 23 copies.

We therefore suggest that you should check up the matter with the person who opened the parcels.
