We regret, we have not been able to clear your Note dated 10th May, 20...for US $1800.

This has, however, been unavoidable owing to an extremely slack season.

We hope the situation will start improving from next month and we shall be able to clear your Note positively by the middle of November. Please bear with us until then and advise our bankers to retain the Promissory Note.
