Swedish Meatballs

from the kitchen of my Grandma Cook

Meatballs:

1 1/2 c. bread crumbs

3/4 c. milk

3 T. chopped onion

1 t. chili powder

1 1/2 t. salt

1/4 t. nutmeg

1 lb. ground beef

1 egg, beaten

1/4 c. flour

Mix and form balls and fry in hot oil until nice and brown. {lately, I've been buying frozen, ready-made meatballs to save time}

Sauce:

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

2 cans water

2 T. onion soup mix

1/4 c. water mixed with 1/4 c. flour

Meatballs

Combine and simmer 30 minutes. Serve over mashed potatoes.
