Butterfinger Peanut Butter Brownies

Peanut Butter Brownie

3/4 c. peanut butter

3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened

3/4 c. sugar

3/4 c. brown sugar

2 eggs

1 t. vanilla

3/4 t. baking soda

1/2 t. salt

1 1/2 c. flour

1 1/2 c. oats

Cream together peanut butter, butter, and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Stir in soda, salt and flour. Mix well. Add oats and mix. Spread in greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. I like it very moist and gooey so I do 20 minutes. The middle will still be jiggly. If you like them more done do 25 minutes. Frost as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Chocolate Frosting

1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted

1/3 c. cocoa

2-3 c. powdered sugar

2 T. milk

1 t. vanilla

Stir cocoa into melted butter. Add 1 c. powdered sugar and mix well. Add milk and vanilla and mix well. Add 1 c. powdered sugar. Add remaining 1 c. powdered sugar as needed to reach desired consistency.

Topping

1 pkg {10 oz.} Butterfinger Bites, crushed {or you could use a few Butterfinger candy bars}

Frost brownie when it first comes out of the oven. Then immediately top with crushed butterfingers.
