1 lb. salted butter

2 1/2 c. sugar

1 c. water

4 T. corn syrup

1 lb. nuts

1 lb. Hershey's candy bar, chilled

Chop nuts and chocolate bar. Sprinkle the nuts onto a greased jellyroll pan. Set aside the chocolate for later.

Combine butter, sugar, water and corn syrup. Place candy thermometer in pan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Continue stirring until temperature reaches 290. Pour quickly into pan on top of nuts.

Working quickly, spread candy over the entire pan. Immediately top with chocolate, which will start to melt. Once chocolate has melted spread it evenly over the candy. Cool completely. Break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes:

1 - Substitute chocolate chips for the candy bar if desired.

2 - Add additional nuts on top of the chocolate if desired.
