liquid smoke

2 T. chili powder

1 T. onion powder

1 1/2 t. garlic powder

2 t. kosher salt

1 t. fresh ground pepper

pinch cayenne pepper

BBQ sauce

Lather pork roast with liquid smoke. Mix together spices and rub into meat. Let marinate overnight. Cook roast in crockpot 8-10 hours on low. Drain juice {save} Shred meat. Add back enough juice to moisten meat. Add BBQ sauce. Keep on warm until ready to serve.

Note: Most of my kids don't like BBQ sauce. They will eat it if I don't add the BBQ sauce. Instead I warm the sauce in the microwave and those who want BBQ sauce add it to their individual sandwich.
