In the bottom of a greased 9 X 13 pan layer 1/3 white sauce, 1/2 the potatoes, 1/2 the onions, 1/2 the ham and 1/2 the cheese. Repeat the layers, ending with the last remaining 1/3 of the white sauce. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until potatoes are soft.
1-2 c. grated cheese
12 oz. ham, chopped
3 large potatoes, sliced thinly
cook together until golden brown
1/2 - 1 onion finely chopped
1 T. butter
salt and pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
2 T. flour
White Sauce Mixture:2 T. butter
Melt butter, stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Whisk in milk and stir until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
