NYC Subway Track Attack

A NYC man shoves an innocent person onto the subway tracks. The 32 year old victim was left mostly unharmed and was able to make it to safety. This attack happened at Myrtle and Wyckoff Avenue Station just before 3:30 pm on September 14, 2023. Workers said the victim was in shock because there was no confrontation or argument. The victim had allegedly injured their arm and walked up the platform stairs to safety. This attack is similar to a previous attack that happened in the Bronx just 5 days prior to this attack. 

Some people take the train to go to school. Here are some ways you can survive an attack if you fall into the tracks. You can either climb out or lay down flat where there is space to fit. Another way you can survive is if you find the emergency exit stairs at the edges of the platform. Also if you get pushed don’t touch the third rail; that's what powers the train and if you touch it you could get injured. And be careful when close to the platform; be mindful of dangerous surroundings or people.
