Pink Moon is an album from a long time ago by a guy named Nick Drake. He made it in 1972, which was a really long time ago. Sadly, it was the last album he made before he died in 1974. Pink Moon is a special album because it's all about feeling really, really sad and down, like when you have depression. There are other albums about being sad, but Pink Moon is different.
The first song on the album is called "Pink Moon." In the song, he sings, "And none of you stand tall, pink moon gonna get you all." It's like he's talking about depression and how it affects everyone. Another song on the album is called "Parasite." In that song, he talks about feeling lonely and down. He sings about seeing a light in a bar and traveling far from sins. It's a really sad song.
Actually, the whole album is filled with sad songs. The music, the words, everything is just really sad. In all of his songs, he talks about his mental health and how he's feeling inside.
Now let me tell you a bit about Nick Drake's life. He was born in 1946, which was even before my parents were born! When he was 14 years old, he got his first guitar. He started playing at bars and one day he met a producer in a bar. They worked together and made his first album called "Five Leaves Left." It came out on July 3, 1969. But sadly, not many people bought it. Only 5000 copies were sold.
After that, he made another album called "Bryter Layter." It was released on March 5, 1971.
