For the 6th grade photography class, Ms. Melendez organized a trip to the Botanical Gardens, located near Prospect Park. The day started with our regular first-period photography class since the bus arrived a bit late for pick-up. After our second period class, we gathered in the library where Ms. Trish announced that the bus had arrived. Excitement filled the air as we made our way downstairs and hopped onto the bus.
During the bus ride to Prospect Park, we chatted and had a great time together. Upon arrival, our adventure began as we ventured into the gardens, exploring winding paths and capturing stunning shots of various plants. One of our classmates even dared to go beyond the ordinary and snapped an incredible underwater photo.
We moved from one exhibit to another, capturing the beauty and essence of each display. The weather was just right—neither too cold nor too warm—creating the perfect backdrop for our photography journey. We spent around 3 hours immersed in the garden's wonders, capturing cool moments and honing our photography skills.
When it was time to head back to school, we boarded the bus and talked about the great day we had. On returning to school, we were just in time for the badminton tournament. This goes down as another great adventurous in 6th grade.
