The 8th grade trip to the Brooklyn Bridge was a very interesting and informative trip , Because when you are on the bridge it felt like you can see the whole new world from up there. 8th Graders are currently studying the development of New York City, so walking the Brooklyn Bridge was the perfect activity for us to examine the city’s development and industrialization. There were a variety of tourists on the bridge coming from many different backgrounds. The Freedom Tower and the Empire State Building highlighted the scenery. After our walk, we had been seated in a beautiful green service area which was almost like a small park to eat our lunch. Overall, we enjoyed this trip and we are excited for our next one on October 31st which we will report on next issue.

Below are pictures from the trip.
