The Super Bowl is an American institution as old as time, well, as old as 1967. This year’s football championship is something different with a new matchup of a team that was expected to stay dominant, as they have the last few seasons, and an up-and-coming team with a young quarterback, dazzling wide receivers, and a solid defense. This Super Bowl will host two teams that are polar opposites in an absolutely thrilling match.
Super Bowl LVII (57) is going to be hosted in the popular State Farm Stadium. This will be the third Super Bowl there since the stadium opened in 2003. This year, it welcomes Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the 2021 season the trials and tribulations were real for the Eagles being The seventh seed In the NFC barely making the playoffs and getting blown out in a wild card match to Tom Brady and the Bucs. Meanwhile, the Chiefs, who had made every AFC championship game for three straight years at that point, made it for a fourth straight year but lost to the Bengals 27-24.
Both these teams reloaded in the off-season. The Eagles possibly had the best off-season of all time acquiring AJ Brown from the Titans on draft day who in both of his full seasons put up 1051 and 1075 receiving yards, respectively. Also adding stud Tackle Jordan Davis in the draft. Well, the Chiefs lost one of the best players in the league, Tyreek Hill, and reloaded with Juju Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney who both put up solid years. Both the Eagles and the Chiefs finished 14-3 and the first seed in their conference, respectively.
These two teams have dominated the entire league in route to the Super Bowl but this is going to be an interesting match up. The Eagles at full strength well The Chiefs are dealing with a few injuries on their O-Line so Patrick Mahomes might need to rush quite a bit. I am predicting Eagles 28-24 Chiefs.
