Artist Statement

For this assignment I went around and took 10 pictures of different textures then I edited them. To get these pictures I looked for textures that looked interesting to take a picture of, like my dog's colorful rope toy. I zoomed into the thing I was taking a picture of and then focused on the object to make sure the photo is clear. I chose the edit most of the photos so that the shadows were darker and more visible, this made the picture look sharper. I like the second photo of a rope dog toy because it is well focused close up and the one green string stands out.
