Multiplicity

Artist Statement

For this assignment I had to take three photos of a person without changing the positioning of the camera and then use photoshop to combine those three photos into one picture. The first one I took was of myself so I had to use the timer on the camera and then run to wherever I wanted to be in the picture. I had myself reading a magazine at the counter, sitting at the computer, and eating cereal at the table. I also took some pictures of my brother in his room. In class we learned how to edit the photos into one which was difficult at first, but I eventually figured it out. I think the photos turned out pretty well. The one that I like better is the picture of my brother because it has different lighting and there aren't any parts of the picture that feel empty.
