The assignment was to take and edit ten silhouette photos. To take a silhouette photo the subject has to be backlit which means that the lighting for the photo is behind the subject. It is best if the subject is in the dark. This was difficult because I was taking photos around the school which has automatic lights. Then when I got home I couldn't really find a room that was dark enough because if the light source for the photo was a window then the room would be light. The one that I think was a pretty good silhouette was the one of the stars because the angle is interesting and you can see the shape of the stars clearly. I ended up making to photos look more like silhouettes by editing them and turning up the contrast a lot.
