Changing the Wi-Fi password once it has expired
SYSTEM OBJECTIVE: The Wi-Fi password is to be changed every 3 weeks
ACCOUNTABILITY: Admin Staff and Salon Coordinator
SYSTEM STANDARDS:
When the old password expires the new one needs to be set for the next 3 weeks
It needs to be set with the correct settings
SYSTEM TRACKING: Admin Staff, Salon Coordinator
STAFFING / SKILLS REQUIRED: To have admin clearance
RESOURCES, EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES: Computer, password for Wi-Fi website
INFORMATION:
Ms Monaco offers free wifi to all clients
The Wi-Fi password is changed every 3 weeks so that only clients in the salon can access the internet
The settings need to be correct when creating a new Wi-Fi password
STEPS:
Go to the Omada Controller website.
Log into the Ms Monaco account using the Username: Ms Monaco Team Password: nrThEw483Cv (It is a case sensitive password)
The website will take you to 'Dashboard'
On the top left-hand side of the screen, select the 'Vouchers' tab
The current voucher should say 'Expired'
On the far right of the current voucher, click the red bin to delete that voucher
Click 'Create Vouchers'
You will have to change some of the default settings
The settings should be changed to:
Portal: All
Code length: 6
Amount: 1
Type: Limited usage counts - 99
Duration Type: Voucher Duration
Duration: Custom - 21 - days
Rate Limit: Guest limit
Traffic Limit: N/A
Description: N/A
Click 'Save' at the bottom of the screen
The 6-digit number under the bolded CODE will be the current Wi-Fi code (example: 188945)
Copy the 6 digit code
Open Client Diary
At the top of the FLOAT column, click on a space half an hour before we open and 'Block out time'
Under custom reasons, select 'WIFI PASSWORD'
Paste the 6 digit code into the 'notes' for that time block
Copy and paste the time block above the FLOAT column in the time slot half an hour before we open for the next 3 weeks (working days only)
