INFORMATION:
The basins in any salon play an important role. They are used for shampooing and massage, for colour applications, treatment and other services. It’s vital that the basins are in good clean working order.
Every basin must be cleaned before a client sits in it not only for comfort and to provide a good impression of the salon, but to also prevent cross-contamination of colour, products and even the potential for disease.
Exercise caution when lifting heavy things or using cleaning materials. Always follow manufacturers' instructions, look at material safety data sheets, follow instructions from a supervisor and ask for help if at any point you are unsure about any part of this procedure.
