NFORMATION: When properly cleaned, mops efficiently clean your floors. A neglected mop, however, spreads more dirt and germs than it picks up. With proper rinsing and storage, and periodic deep cleanings, your floor mops will give you dependable cleaning power that lasts.
Exercise caution when lifting heavy things or using cleaning materials. Always follow manufacturer instructions, look at material safety data sheets, follow instructions from a supervisor and ask for help if at any point you are unsure about any part of this procedure.
STEP 1: Wheel the mop to a suitable sink or drain
STEP 2: Wring the mop of water and place on the side
STEP 3: Empty the bucket of dirty water
STEP 4: Fill the mop bucket with hot water
STEP 5: Add some dishwashing liquid
STEP 6: Put the mop back in the hot soapy water
STEP 7: Swish the mop around in the hot soapy water a few times
STEP 8: Let the mop sit in the water for one minute
STEP 9: Swish the mop around again a few times
STEP 10: Wring the mop out and put aside
STEP 11: Empty the bucket
STEP 12: Wring the mop out again and get out as much water as possible ( if you need help with this, ask another team member )
STEP 13: Put the mop away, with the mop head facing up
STEP 14: Put the bucket away
