INFORMATION: Cutting chairs are the place where a client spends most of their time in the salon, so they need to be kept in good clean working order.
The chairs can get dirty throughout the day with either hair stuck on them or even the possibility of splashed colour. It’s critical that the chairs get thoroughly checked and cleaned if necessary after every client.
Exercise caution when lifting heavy things or using cleaning materials. Always follow manufacturers' instructions, look at material safety data sheets, follow instructions from a supervisor and ask for help if at any point you are unsure about any part of this procedure.
STEP 1: Wipe over chairs after services with a dry towel.
STEP 2: At the end of the day, use a damp cloth/rag and some gentle cleaner to wipe over entire chair.
STEP 3: Weekly, use cleaning spray on all parts of the chair, including the base, and wipe clean with a rag towel.
