INFORMATION: The back room can be a place where dirty equipment and crockery get placed for cleaning. These things need to be cleaned throughout the day.
If your salon only has one sink to clean everything, it’s important to wash the things up separately, and, use different cleaning utensils to do so. For example, if you are cleaning a tint bowl with a washing-up brush, do not use that same brush to clean up coffee mugs.
Exercise caution when using cleaning materials. Always follow manufacturers' instructions, look at material safety data sheets, follow instructions from a supervisor and ask for help if at any point you are unsure about any part of this procedure.
