Follow manufacturers instructions for the basins and the reclining chairs
Guide / direct the client to the preferred basin.
Remove bulky jewellery
Loosen ties and top buttons
Remove hearing aids
Remove glasses
Clients caped up correctly
Clients guided into the basin ensuring only the neck is on the basin neck rubber. No towels to be touching the neck rubber.
Check with the client if they are comfortable
Ask the client if they want the electric massage or heater on if available

INFORMATION: The basin area and services in the salon is potentially the first experience a client is going to have in the salon. Correctly seating a client at a basin is important to ensure the best outcome for the client in regard to comfort and the service itself.
The way clients are seated at the basing is important for the following reasons:
