When using digital tools and applications with learners, teachers need to understand where learners are on their digital journey.
Early on learners will need to be exposed to skills within the applications they are using and may need to be guided in which applications to use to complete a task.
As they become more competent they will be able to choose which applications to use to complete the task, fulfilling the success criteria created in the classroom.

Use the images as conversation starters.
What can be seen?
What ideas do learners have about what they can see?
How do they think things were made in the past?
Can they describe objects on an image using prepositions?

Learners can learn about topical events in a fun way. Information can be read by the learners, there are interactive games and some videos.
Explore
Find examples of Biographies, Pictures and Videos to support learners in accessing information.
PS2-
Know how to use Britannica Education, understand searching, and find their own information.
Britannica ImageQuest
Continue the use of Britannica ImageQuest and allow learners to explore images on topics/areas covered in the classroom.
Learners can start to understand the image details and talk about copyright information at the bottom of images

Learners can learn about topical events in a fun way. Information can be read by the learners, there are interactive games and some videos.
Search for information Reading Level 1
Learners can start accessing information at different reading levels, learners in PS2 should start to use keywords to find information.
They can listen to the information being spoken aloud to them, to support their reading along with the information

Use Britannica Education to independently research at an appropriate reading level.

Learners can make use of images from a reputable source, they can cite the source of the information when they use it in their work.
Credit can be given when using the digital work of others.
