Physical Education

On this page, you will find ideas that support the 'PE' aspects of the Health & Well-being AOLE.

The examples here are ideas of how technology could be used. This is not an extensive list of ways teachers can use technology to enhance their teaching, but an introduction to how some apps could be used.

Adobe Express

Learners could create videos, posters or web pages on what they are learning in class.

These could be explainer videos of how to perform actions from games/sports they play.

They could start with closed skills such as taking a penalty, shooting a free throw etc. These could also be created as social media posts which learners may have seen on various platforms.

Google/Office365

Learners could use a word processor to write up instructions for games they have created.

Learners could create a presentation on gymnastics sequences they are performing.

Learners can make use of spreadsheets that track scores, laps etc.

These can then allow formulas to be used to analyse the data.

Or create analytical data of a sporting event, looking at shots taken/completed and creating percentage data from the information gathered.
