How this could be done

A list of suitable Welsh websites and apps are readily available in each class. Learners have access to and make good use of Welsh apps e.g. Magi Ann, Tric a Chlic, Campau Cosmig.

Below are several websites that can be used to develop learners' use of the Welsh language. Apps can be added to any tablets that are used in the school to further reinforce this.

Learners use a range of ICT software to complete spoken and written tasks in Welsh e.g. presentations

Learners can complete written tasks using Google Docs/Slides/Sites, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Sway, Adobe Poster, Presentation, Video and Just2Easy writing apps.

They can record spoken tasks using Adobe Video, Microsoft Flip within Teams, or screen recording tools to record their spoken Welsh.

Teachers make good use of digital resources to enhance teaching e.g. county schemes, Fflic a Fflac, Pod Antur, HWB resources etc. They also use mainstream apps in Welsh e.g. Stop motion animation, Chatterpix, Green screen etc to enhance learning.

Teachers can sign up for the FCC Education Dept Network within Hwb.

Flintshire's Welsh resources are found in 'Education & Youth Services' - 'School Improvement' - 'Welsh in Education'.

Using applications available to them on the Hwb platform, learners can create pieces of work where their ability to use Welsh can be exemplified through their written or oral contributions.

Learners regularly use a range of software e.g. Adobe Express, iMovie etc to edit spoken tasks/presentations.

Through their Hwb logins Learners have access to several Apps from which they can create digital work. Learners can record audio using Just2Easy and record. Using Adobe learners can add Audio to their creations in a number of their formats. Using Flip within Teams learners can record videos with audio. Using iPads learners can add audio to their iMovies, or using the screen recording feature of the iPad they can turn the audio on and record videos with audio.

The majority of main speaking activities completed by learners are showcased using QR codes, Flipgrid, HWB, e-bortffolio, Seesaw etc.

Learners can evidence of their Welsh oracy skills using tools available on the Hwb platform.

Where they have created within Just2Easy they can save and publish these as QR codes, or within digital portfolios learners can add links to the work they have created which show their oracy skills.

If using Seesaw learners can add audio to the work they have created, or create videos where Welsh is spoken. These can then be exported as QR codes.

Learners regularly use online dictionaries/thesaurus to check spelling and meaning e.g. Ap Geiriaduron, Gweiadur.

Learners can use the Ap Geiriaduron App on iPad and Android devices.

They can make use of https://geiriadur.bangor.ac.uk/ as an online dictionary.
