Ideas for Using the Hwb Apps in the classroom

In these Subpages, you will find suggestions on how you could use the Hwb tools to create tasks set for your learners to complete.

These have been broken down into the apps as they appear on the Hwb home page.

When learners are creating videos to demonstrate their understanding, it is good practice to ask learners to write a script for their videos. This is the same for presentations, learners should start to create presentations that support the presenter, rather than a presentation which are simply read from the screen.

By creating infographics/posters from their research learners can decide how to display their knowledge, by asking pupils to make notes (particularly in bullet point form) it can avoid plagiarism and learners can use 'copy & paste' to create their work.
