On this page, you will find ideas that support the 'Art' aspects of the Expressive Arts AOLE.

The examples here are ideas of how technology could be used. This is not an extensive list of ways teachers can use technology to enhance their teaching, but an introduction to how some apps could be used.

Adobe Express

Using Adobe Express, learners can use the Text to Image feature to generate images as the base of an idea. These images can be 'tweaked' with additional prompts for the AI to generate the image.

Using the Drawing tools within Adobe Express learners can create images using freestyle drawing tools.

Learners could create videos, posters or web pages on what they are learning in class.

A poster/infographic/social media post could be created to convey what is being learnt.

Google Drawings

Drawings can be used to create simple pictures using shapes and layers.

Google Sheets/Office365 Excel

Use Spreadsheets to create pixel art of images.

Just2Easy Paint

Learners can continue to create images, thinking about the perspective of the additions they make to their pictures.

Britannica Education

Learners could use Britannica Education to research artists and artistic approaches and use it to create a presentation of what they have found.

Google/Office365

Learners could use a word processor to create a write-up or a script for a video presentation.

Learners could create a presentation on what they have learnt about, these could then be recorded using a Screen recorder.

Minecraft

Learners can access Worlds that have been created by influential artists, sculptures and many others.
