Usually, this will mean that the work created in other applications, Adobe/Just2easy, for example, stays within the storage of those applications.
This can have implications for being able to assess the work of the learners, but also to provide feedback.
Schools are generally making use of either Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom to present assignments to their learners, such as editing or adapting a word processing document (Word or Docs) or presentation (PowerPoint or Slides). These assignments are in the format of the Learning Management System of choice.
However, when learners work in Adobe, work is stored in their 'Your stuff' folder and in Just2easy, work is in their 'myfiles'. By asking learners to 'Share' their work, teachers can manage all their assignments in their MS Teams or Google Classroom.
This process supports both the school when assessing the work of the learners, and the learners in understanding how to share files and hyperlinks to pieces of work.
By using Tags in MS Teams or Topics in Google Classroom, teachers/SLT can also identify the AOLEs in which work has been created.
If using the DCF trackers from this website, and selecting the AOLE, which is referenced when activities are recorded. There will be a correlation between the activities stated and the Teams/Classroom the work is in.
This will then provide a link to only the piece of work. If learners select 'Copy link', it will also show all of the Adobe toolbars.
This will now be saved to allow the learner to paste in
Learners then open their LMS and the assignment that the teacher has set.
They then select 'Attach' in Teams or 'Add or create' in Classroom, and here they paste the link they have copied.
This is where all work created in Just2easy is stored, similar to Microsoft's OneDrive and Google's Google Drive.
