On several occasions, teachers have informed me that they were unaware of the digital support available via this website.

New support on this Website

Cymraeg

Support for using technology to develop the Welsh language in your school.

Those schools aiming to achieve the Cymraeg Campus Awards must complete Targed 6, which requires learners to show their use of Cymraeg using technology.

There is support for iPad Apps for younger learners.

Along with a selection of examples of how activities could be completed using technology where a learner's understanding of Welsh can be developed.

Support for Adobe Express session from Flintshire

Introduction to using Adobe Express in the Classroom. This training is relevant to all year group teachers who would like to know more about using Adobe Express in the Classroom.This training will go over the basics of Adobe Express, we will be looking at: How you can create posters and videos Using the AI tools in Adobe Express And, how to share work created in Adobe Express in Google Classrooms or Microsoft Teams This session will be run on Monday 18th November, during lunch time between 12:15pm and 12:45pm and afterschool between 3:30pm and 4:00pm This is trail to assess the feasibility of running more training sessions in this format. To enable us to add you to the correct meeting please complete this form.

On Monday 18th November we will hold two online training sessions to support using Adobe Express

12:15-12:45 pm

3:30-4:00 pm

These sessions are aimed at allowing ALL Flintshire staff to attend.

Based on the response we get, we will look into using this model to facilitate training for digital tools in the future.

Be Internet Legends- Live lessons

AI is all around us, from personal devices to household appliances. Help your pupils to understand this technology with a new assembly from Be Internet Legends.

AI is not always an easy thing to explain, but the Be Internet Legends AI Assembly breaks it down for children, with simple definitions, relatable examples and interactive challenges.

You can join us on Tuesday 15 October at 9:30 am. We’ll also provide supporting teacher guidance and activities to help your class prepare.
