Sniff and Snails have been granted funding (via Flintshire County Council and the UK-wide Levelling Up fund) to deliver free ‘Physical Computing and Creative Coding’ CPD to staff in Flintshire primary schools until end of March / beg of April.
These sessions are perfect for schools that have Crumble controller kits in their schools and would like a refresher on how they work and how to use them cross-curricula. For a recap on the Crumble head here - https://sniffandsnails.com/thecrumble/
The sessions last approx. 2 hours and will be delivered by the makers of the Crumble, who are originally from Holywell. The focus of the sessions is to help all staff feel more confident and inspired about incorporating hands-on coding into cross-curricular activities. Think volcanoes that light up and erupt with pom poms and robotic orchestras guaranteed to have classrooms jumping with joy.
Sniff and Snails are also looking to build a local community of practice, where we can come together and share ideas and resources related to coding and physical computing.
If you’re interested in booking a CPD session or two for your school or cluster, please reach out directly to Hayley on hayley@sniffandsnails.com. Sessions can run during or after school hours on a day of your choice.
If you’re interested in receiving a fully-funded Physical Computing CPD session for your school or cluster, please reach out to Hayley on hayley@sniffandsnails.com.
