What does progression mean when using applications?
Schools need to develop a plan of progression across the applications which they use in the classroom.
There should be a development in the digital skills which learners acquire through their time in school and their use of digital technology. e.g. Word Processing
These pages should serve as a guide to ways in which primary schools can develop skills to ensure parity of skills across our Flintshire Primary schools.
Secondary schools can then build upon these skills within their subjects/AoLEs.
NB. During the initial integration of skills, both primary and secondary schools will need to assess the current level of learner skills. Staff confidence and competence will also need to develop alongside those of learners.
