This is an overview of documents/processes your school could have in place, and the reason why they may support you.

Identifies the processes your school has in place to support your learners and school community digitally. 

Allows you to identify at a glance the coverage of the DCF skills being applied in classes and which AOLE the skills have been experienced in. 

Ensures there is a progression in the digital skills being acquired by your learners to apply in their digital work. 

A Digital Learning Platform 

Your digital books, allow you to collate and organise work from different applications in one place.  (Google Classroom/MS Teams)

This allows your Headteacher to understand the ongoing cost of replacement of your digital ecosystem. It can be used to plan the savings needed to replace devices when needed.

Moderation processes

The process by which you ensure that the digital skills being used by your learners are appropriate.

Your school will be aware of which learners do not have access to a digital device. Needed in times of remote learning.

Your school will be aware of which learners do not have access to data for their devices. Needed in times of remote learning.

Using Hwb applications

You should be aware of the applications being used in your school, looking at how the skills learners develop progress or are transferred. 

Staff should have access to training support material on how to use the applications available to them to use in the classroom.

360 Safe Digi

Supports your school in evaluating your whole school approach to digital learning.

Digital 'Ambassadors'

Allow your learners to have a voice in your school’s digital journey.

They allow your learners to reflect on what they have learnt, learners can reflect against the four purposes or the school’s aims and objectives.
