Following consultation with digital lead practitioners, this document has been developed to establish best practices for schools in utilizing digital tools available through the Hwb platform. This approach ensures equitable access to technology for all learners within Flintshire.
It is important to note that this guidance is not a comprehensive resource of classroom activities. Instead, it aims to assist schools in selecting appropriate apps for different year groups. Class teachers retain the autonomy to choose specific activities that enable learners to use these apps for creative work.
Schools can use this guidance to assess their current level of digital tool implementation and plan for future development. When making plans, schools should consider factors such as device availability and the specific Learning Management System they employ.
