Music

On this page, you will find ideas that support the 'Music' aspects of the Expressive Arts AOLE. 

The examples here are ideas of how technology could be used. This is not an extensive list of ways teachers can use technology to enhance their teaching, but an introduction to how some apps could be used. 

Although there are no specific music composing applications within the Hwb platform, several applications allow learners to select music as a background. This could allow for a discussion on the ability of music to enhance or elicit emotions from the viewer.

Adobe Express

Using Adobe Express, learners create posters or videos about what they are learning about. They are also able to add Audio to these creations, through the choice of music as a backing track or by adding their voice.

Learners could create videos, posters or web pages on the subject t area they are covering in school.

Learners could create videos, posters or web pages on what they are learning in class.

A poster/infographic/social media post could be created to convey what is being learnt. 

Britannica Education

Learners could use Britannica Education to research musicians and music genres and use it to create a presentation of what they have found.

Google/Office365

Learners could use a word processor to create a write-up or a script for a video presentation.

Learners could create a presentation on what they have learnt about, these could then be recorded using a Screen recorder.
