A learned behavior through previous tradition and social learning from each generation to the next.

People define culture but, it is a set of ideals within a community. Culture is the culmination of morals, expectations, and even the design of physical areas. It can affect how people learn and how people comprehend the situations they experience.

Even transformation is a part of culture based on the current times and events which can particularly change different values of a culture or set practices.

• • • Students are developing a better sense of knowledge on what culture is and which culture they belong to. Being a part of a school culture and having a status is very important to students at this point in time of their lives during middle school and high school.

• • • Educators need to recognize this to be “in” with the culture that is created by their students which can help teachers and students bond on a different level and motivate them in their education.

• • • Just as school culture is important so is the home culture students know. If a teacher can bond with a student based off of the same ethnicity or even simliarities this can create an even greater bond and understanding from both the teacher and student which can help the teacher present material in a way that will reach their students.
