To effectively address connection issues between the main cashier and other devices (Sub Cashiers, KDS, CDS, Notifier, Printers), please follow the troubleshooting steps below and avoid unrelated solutions such as:

When Does This Issue Occur?
Typically after a router is powered off/on (e.g., due to electricity issues).
This may change the IP addresses of connected devices, causing communication issues.

This is strictly an IP address issue – not related to app performance or sync problems.
How to Fix the Issue
1. For Issues Between Main Cashier and Sub Cashier / Other Devices:
Get the IP address of the Sub Cashier:
From the Sub Cashier: Home > Diagnostics
If not accessible due to error (URL session timeout), go to:
Sub Cashier/other device iPad Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap the blue (i) icon > Scroll to find the IP address
On the Main Cashier:
Go to: Home > Devices > Edit Sub Cashier
Insert the IP address of the Sub Cashier/Other device
Tap Save > Tap Ping
You should see "Successful" in green
ENSURE both iPads have Foodics Cashier opened when clicking PINGÂ
2. For Issues Between Main Cashier and Printer:
Find the printer’s IP address:
Refer to the COE HC for getting the IP address of certain printer
Once you have the IP:
Go to: Main Cashier > Home > Devices > Edit Printer
Insert the printer’s IP > Tap Save > Tap Ping
The printer will print a small paper confirming the connection
Important Settings Check
Ensure Local Network is enabled on all iPads:
Settings > Foodics Cashier > Enable "Local Network"
How to Activate Local Network for Cashier App
If the Above Steps Don't Work: Reset Network Settings
On each iPad:
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset > Reset Network Settings
The iPad will restart and disconnect from Wi-Fi
Reconnect all devices to the SAME network
