Purpose
This article explains the end-to-end process for handling inactive Foodics Pay terminals, the criteria for initiating a pull-out request with Intersoft, and the steps to follow if the customer resumes using the terminal.
A terminal is considered inactive if it has no transactions for more than one month.
If the terminal remains inactive for over one month, a pull-out request may be initiated with Intersoft by Pay Ops
The terminal status in Foodics will remain Installed (not βPull-Out Requestedβ) to allow flexibility in case the customer decides to reuse the terminal.
The pull-out request is tracked on the Intersoft portal. https://crm.intersoft.sa/Terminals/vTerminals#
The customer can resume using the terminal at any time without contacting COE for reactivation.
Once transactions resume:
The terminal is considered active again.
There is no need to proceed with the pull-out.
If the terminal is reused and transactions resume:
If the client reuses the terminal and transactions resume, Intersoft is not automatically notified as Pay Ops will inform Intersoft manually
If the client contacts Intersoft directly and confirms their intention to continue using the terminal, Intersoft will reach out to the Pay Ops team to obtain a confirmation.
