Math: Mrs. Bennett
This week in Math class, we are working on estimating with 2-digit divisors. Students will learn how to use compatible numbers to help get a high estimate and a low estimate. This range will really help students evaluate the reasonableness of their quotients. We will also begin to use partial quotients to solve division problems with 2-digit divisors.
Student will also receive their updated IXL Skill Plans. They will be able to see their MAP scores for Math and the breakdown of each category. This will also allow them to reflect and think about what all they want to accomplish before the next testing window!
Homework:
-Students need to complete one IXL from their Math Skill Plan to 100% by Wednesday 10/9. If students need help with their Skill Plan, I am happy to help them in the morning during homeroom time!
-No Simple Solutions or Reflex this week
