We will continue with writing on activities on Fridays (Writing will now be part of the LA grade, and no longer separate), in which we are currently creating our own "myths."

Students will read real-world scenarios and pay close attention to what the remainder represents and what the questions is asking. Using the acroynm T.A.C.O students will determine how to use the reamidner in their answer. T stands for Trash it, A stands for Allocate it, C stands for Copy it, and O stands for One More.

SOCIAL STUDIES: MRS. CRUSH
In Math Workshop, we are continuing our project, "Using a Scale to Create a Map," focusing on the West and Southwest Regions. There are a few students who have states from the Midwest Region. Each student was assigned a different states and they will be creating a map with a title, cities, geographical features, compass rose, scale, and bodies of water. Using their scale, they will create multiple step math problems. In Social Studies, we will focus on the Southwest Region and students will be doing a mini Landmark Project.
We will continue our Research Project on Kentucky Counties. Each student will be assigned a cluster of counties. They will focus on places, government, people, and events in their cluster. Students will be working on this research project in both Social Studies and Technology for the next several weekends.
