7th Grade, please create a story. You do the following:
- Open a new Window or new Tab
- Create a "document" on Google drive
- Save the document as "My Story"
- Click the blue button called "Share"
- Share the document with Doug DeGroot, NOT with Dan DeGroot
- Start your story, follow the instructions below
Keep this short! Start a new paragraph for each number. Please tell me this story:
- Start with "Once upon a time, there was a chipmunk named _____."
- You describe what a normal day is like for the chipmunk. What does he or she do that makes him happy?
- Have something bad happen. Something that is NOT normal happens to our chipmunk, what is it? (HINT: Make the problem be something that can be solved.)
- Give Chipmunk a friend, who is it?
- Chipmunk and friend try to make the bad thing go away, what do they try to do?
- The solution that they try fails, but they learn something important. How did it fail? What did they learn?
- Chipmunk and friend try a new idea, what is it?
- Have the idea work, describe how the problem DOES go away
- Describe how Chipmunk goes back to being happy
- Describe how Chipmunk is smarter/wiser for what happened
