Assignments and Missing Scores or Low Scores
Grades have two categories: Grammar, Reading.
1. Grammar
The following items are assignments. Each is a worksheet. All points missed on a worksheet can be regained by doing extra credit. Any point missed from a worksheet can be made up by doing extra credit.
- Nouns: Students had test questions several days ahead of time
- Pronouns: This test was given twice and the better score was used
- Pronouns 2: Best score after two weeks of review and two retakes was used
- Verbs, Action: do exercises 1-7 (p. 330): test was taken twice with best score used
- Verbs, Linking: do exercises 12-18 (p. 334)
- Verbs, Helping: do exercises 23-27 (p. 338)
- Adjectives: do exercises 1-13 (p. 348)
- Adverbs: do exercises 17-25 (p. 360)
- Prepositions: do exercises 1-8 (p. 372)

Extra Credit:
- Do any grammar exercise from the textbook to raise any low or missing score.
- Find the corresponding chapter in your textbook and do any exercises from that chapter.
- You regain one missing point in the grade book for each question that you answer correctly from the text book.
2. Reading
- Read five books before the end of the trimester. Take an A.R. (accelerated reader) test for each book.
- For two books that you have read, create a website.
