WEEK 9 - UNIT TEST! / CASE STUDY #2 - FREE SPEECH ISSUES!
9th Week of School! This week students will be taking the second unit test of the year - Principles of Government! Students will be taking the exam with use of their unit notebook packets and then turning in their notebook packets accordingly. Then - students will be completing the second Case Study of the year - Free Speech Issues!
Weekly Theme(s) - Students will be demonstrating key content knowledge and key competencies gained from the unit on Principles of Government by taking the unit test assessment! The test features mathing, muliple choice, true/false and then also a written response seciton.
Students will then be completing a Case Study on Free Speech Issues in America! They will be completing a series of reading/questions, video/questions, surveys and writing prompts to show their thoughts and opinions on free speech issues! How far should free speech go? What is acceptable free speech? Does government have a right to censor free speech? All these issues and topics will be explored this week!
HOMEWORK: FINISH UNIT NOTEBOOK PACKET FOR MONDAY (EVEN)! / STUDY FOR UNIT TEST: MONDAY (EVEN)!
