24th Week of School! This week - students will be continuing and finishing their study of the American Electoral Process! Students will be examining key topics pertaining to elections, politics, campaigns and citizen influence!
Weekly Theme(s) - Students will be taking a closer look at the following topics pertaining to elections: components of elections and democracy, handling contested elections, timeline of electoral process, key terms of electoral process, jeopardy review game! Later - students will be taking unit test assessment on Electoral Process!

SWBAT identify, describe explain key characteristics of elections by reading a source and completing a chart.
SWBAT recall key content and key concepts from the Election unit by playing a review game.
METHOD:

Notes/Chart - Contested Elections - Students will read source and complete chart on contested elections
Key Concepts of Elections - Students will examine key components of elections by reading sources and answering questions.
Timeline - Electoral Process - Students will place events of Electoral Process in order.
