Weekly Theme - This week, students will be continuing their study of the next unit of the Reconstruction Era and Settling the West!

Of course - Students will then be completing lessons and components of the unit notebook packet for Chapter 15 and 16! Guided notes sections, Presidential analysis video/chart sections, Documentary/questions sections and extra components like maps, timelines, people to know, etc. will all be administered and completed accordingly!

SWBAT identify, evaluate, justify, defend key life stories, accomplishments, shortcomings of Presidents Grant and Hayes by viewing video and completing chart analysis.
SWBAT demonstrate key content knowledge of vocab. terms by completing a vocab. challenge activity.

METHOD:

Warm-Up / Q of the Day!
Notes - Reconstruction - Successes and Failures - Students will take notes on impacts and legacies of Reconstruction.
Video/Chart/Decision Points - #18 and #19 - Ulysses Grant and Rutherford Hayes - Students will view video and complete
Vocab. Inquiry Challenge - Students will complete activity matching their knowledge on vocab. terms.
